The 22-year-old is in the Santa Clara County Jail and has been classified as an inmate with psychological problems.

In an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, Golam Rabbi said, "The best thing if anyone wants to know what happened is to wait for the trial."

Golam Rabbi insisted, his younger brother, who is a senior at Evergreen Valley High School, is innocent.

Their cousin, Nafees Hasan, spoke with ABC7 News in a phone interview.

"Definitely we are very upset right now," Hasan said. "Their relation with their parents seemed very good. We never saw any problems with them."

Sources say disturbing messages were left at the scene, which could help investigators figure out what really happened at the home.

Those in the neighborhood are saddened, not just by the crime, but also by the identity of the suspects.

"To be killed by someone from the outside not related to you, it's bad already, someone kill your life, but to be killed by your own kids," said neighbor Hanh Ha.

Golam Rabbi has no prior convictions and had this to say about being in jail: "I'm not expecting five star treatment. I can't say I've ever met anyone who's been extremely happy to be in jail."

The funerals for Golam and Shamima Rabbi are set for Friday.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to speak with either Detective Sgt. Pat Guire or Detective Ken Tran at (408) 277-5283. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers at (408) 947-7867.
