VIDEO: North Bay fire tragedies bring out best in Bay Area
The Bay Area sticks together -- through floods, fires, tragedy, and horrific events, we persevere. Thank you to all who have stepped up to help those in the North Bay during their time of need.

The North Bay community is sticking together as wildfires continue to rage. Here are some businesses opening their doors and hearts to those in need.

Sonoma County officials have opened a debris removal right-of-entry permit center at the Department of Health Services building (625 Fifth St., between Riley and Humboldt, Santa Rosa.) Staff will be on hand to assist residents with filling out paperwork for the voluntary debris removal program. The center will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Oct. 29.
