ABC7 News' Leyla Gulen participates in Athletics' annual Root Beer Float Day

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- ABC7 News Traffic Reporter Leyla Gulen was busy on Wednesday night helping the Oakland Athletics in the fight against juvenile diabetes.

The team held its 16th annual Root Beer Float Day and helped raise more than $34,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Leyla joined current and former A's players, along with local celebrities, to serve up scoops.
