The price tag for Friday's inauguration and the events leading up to it could top $200 million according to the New York Times.

Private donors also help foot the bill for the events, but much of the bill is covered by the federal government, state and local governments, and certain government committees.

The cost of security could top $100 million.

Mr. Trump's inaugural committee has raised $100 million through corporations, wealthy individuals, and smaller supporters.

The actual cost of the events depends on the size of the crowds.
