SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- At-risk children in the Bay Area have more funds available for services thanks to an amazing fundraiser last night at AT&T Park.

Sports celebrities and families took over the Giants' ballpark for Holiday Heroes. The Wender-Weis Foundation turned the ballpark into a winter wonderland. ABC7 anchors Cheryl Jennings and Kristen Sze joined 49ers alumnus Brent Jones, 49ers backup quarterback Josh Johnson and Giants NLCS hero Travis Ishikawa to create the ultimate holiday experience for children.

"We've had families that have been coming for years at risk families. We just wait and hope that they will be able to come this year. It means everything to me. It keeps me going during the more difficult challenging times," said Amy Wender-Hoch, Wender Weis Foundation for Children

Sports heroes signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans including Raiders defensive end Justin Tuck and soccer legend Brandy Chastain. The fundraiser will help finance at least two Junior Giants' leagues.
