SFPD: Standoff underway with autistic teen armed with knife
SFPD remain at the scene of a standoff that began Monday night they say is involving a 13-year-old autistic boy.

SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco police say a standoff that began Monday night involving a 13-year-old autistic boy armed with a knife at a home near Dolores Park has ended Tuesday afternoon.



Officials say the boy is safe.



The incident began around 9:15 p.m. after officers responded to a report of a barricaded suspect in the 200 block of Cumberland Street, police



said.



Officer learned the teen had gotten into an argument with his family, according to police.
