SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Proposed legislation would put limits on monster home construction in parts of San Francisco.
It may soon be difficult to build monster homes in parts of San Francisco.
Supervisor Scott Weiner introduced legislation Tuesday to prevent monster construction projects in the Corona Heights and Corbett Heights neighborhoods.
Recently residents have complained about the large residential projects impacting the neighborhood.
Under the proposed legislation, anyone who wants to construct a home over three thousand square feet must get authorization from the city planning commission.
