SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place outside a residence in San Jose late Saturday night.
The incident was reported at 11:16 p.m., and officers responded to the 1300 block of Sunbeam Circle to investigate reports of a shooting victim - who was subsequently transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
Investigators say that the victim was talking with others in a residential driveway when two suspects arrived in a light colored compact vehicle. One suspect exited the vehicle, shot the victim, and got back in before the second suspect drove away, according to police.
The suspects have not been identified or apprehended, and the vehicle has not been located, according to police. The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
