SAN MATEO, Calif. -- The San Mateo Police Department says they're experiencing technical difficulties with their non-emergency phone lines Saturday morning, but 911 is still working for emergency calls.

Police are working with the city's IT department to resolve the issue. Non-emergency calls are temporarily being rerouted through the dispatch center in Burlingame at (650) 777-4100.

Police want to remind residents that some non-emergencies are reportable online.
