VTA ticket machines accepting credit, debit cards again

SANTA CLARA COUNTY -- Ticket vending machines operated by the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority are now accepting credit and debit card transactions after issues reported late this morning, VTA officials said.

The vending machines were experiencing difficulties processing such transactions but the issues have been resolved, VTA officials announced this evening.

Travelers were advised to use the EventTIK mobile fare app available on iPhone and Android, or cash.
