Stolen car going wrong way on Highway 4 in Pittsburg ends in crash following chase

PITTSBURG, Calif. (KGO) -- A high-speed chase involving a stolen Cadillac and the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office came to an end on Highway 4 in Pittsburg this afternoon.

Authorities told ABC7 News the Cadillac was driving the wrong way on Highway 4.

It hit at least two cars and a motorcyclist suffered minor injuries.

Authorities told ABC7 News the two suspects inside the sedan ran and tried carjacking other cars before they were arrested.

There was major traffic reported on Highway 4 from Pittsburgh to Concord because of the chase and crashes during rush hour.
