SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Thirty one days worth of rain in under 72 hours is what we saw in Oakland, Concord, Hayward and Livermore. These cities received a full October's worth of rain and then some.

The entire Bay Area saw a soaking from a pair of storms that first arrived Friday morning. In the Santa Cruz Mountains, nearly 10 inches of rain fell, which prompted a Flash Flood Warning around the Loma Fire burn area for fears that there could be mudslides and debris flows.

While we will see a return to drier and warmer conditions later this week, the longer range forecast does favor a cooler and wetter pattern into the end of the month.
