SEATTLE (KGO) -- Tickets to the Super Bowl this year are a relative bargain -- averaging just under $2,900.

Prices on the secondary market are 20 percent cheaper than what they sold for last year.

It seems the much-heralded 12th Man in Seattle isn't as enthused this year as last, when they won the title for the first time in team history.

Over in Boston, excitement for the Patriots is muted. Which might not come as a surprise, seeing as the team's been in the Super Bowl six out of the last 14 years.

Prices are expected to continue to drop as we get closer to game time.
