MIDDLETOWN, Calif. (KGO) -- Some people impacted by the Valley Fire are unhappy with the Red Cross.

According to The Press Democrat, people who received Red Cross debit cards have started receiving messages that the money they received could disappear in 60 days.

Residents say they received calls from Red Cross employees about the warning.

The Red Cross says the cards are designed to expire because they are supposed to be used for emergency cash in the weeks immediately following a disaster.
