Takeaway of the Day

Today will feature sunny skies and warm temperatures with highs in the mid 60s to the upper 90s. Tonight a Red Flag Warning will be in effect for the North Bay Mountains and the East Bay Hills. Gusty northerly winds will drop humidity levels as low as 10% overnight. This will bring the increased risk of fires.

The Look Ahead

Tuesday will kick off a heat wave that will last into the weekend.

A Heat Advisory and an Excessive Heat Warning will be in effect for most of the Bay Area (except for the immediate coastline).

Highs Inland will be 100+ for the rest of the week. You want to stay hydrated and find ways to stay cool.
