AccuWeather Forecast: Limited fog along parts of coast overnight
ABC7 News meteorologist Sandhya Patel has your AccuWeather forecast for Monday.

Takeaway of the Day

The heat wave begins tomorrow and it will last through the week. An Excessive Heat Warning will go up for inland areas and a Heat Advisory for San Francisco and the bay shoreline from tomorrow morning through Saturday evening. The hot weather will raise the risk of heat-related illnesses.

A Red Flag Warning starts late tonight in the North and East Bay hills and Santa Cruz mountains where gusty winds and low humidity will bring higher fire danger through midweek.

Limited fog is expected along parts of the coast overnight. Expect sunny and warm to hot weather for most areas with temperatures well above average and a "Spare the Air" tomorrow. Higher astronomical tides will lead to minor low lying flooding the next few days so a Coastal Flood Advisory is up through Wednesday night.

TIMELINE: Hottest city in Bay Area could reach 110 degrees during this extended heat wave
