3 dead in fiery multi-vehicle accident in El Sobrante

EL SOBRANTE, Calif. (KGO) -- Three people are dead following a fiery accident along San Pablo Dam Road in El Sobrante.

Emergency crews arrived Sunday night to find flames shooting from a red Camaro that broadsided another car and crashed into a tree. According to the CHP, the driver was taken to the hospital with major injuries, all three passengers died.

The driver of the other car suffered minor injuries.

The CHP says alcohol and speed were factors.
