Four-alarm fire at Salinas swap meet

The Salinas Fire Department was battling a large structure fire in the 600 block of East Alisal Street today at about 9:15 a.m.

According to a dispatcher, the fire was reported at about 8:30 a.m. and is "the equivalent of a four-alarm."

The dispatcher said the fire was burning "an indoor swap meet-type of business."

There have been no reports of injuries.
