Carly Fiorina, the former head of Hewlett-Packard, is taking a leading role within the Republican Party. Today the GOP announced that she will oversee the Republican National Committee's "victory fund." That account will be used to support senator john McCain's run for the white house, as well as other republicans up for election. Fiorina was an early supporter of john McCain, and has spoken at his campaign events. She was ousted from HP in 2005, after an investigation into "pre-texting," in which the company hired private detectives to spy on board members and the media.
