If you are a fan of the ABC hit TV show, "Dancing with the Stars," you'll love the new dance studio that will open Friday night in San Francisco.

The grand opening of the Cheryl Burke Dance Center will feature a Bay Area face you know well who led Emmett Smith to a win on the show.

The proceeds from Friday's grand opening will go to the mayor's program on physical fitness, to encourage fitness through dance. Cheryl Burke and a number of stars from the show will be there.

Burke describes the new studio as a place "to share my love for ballroom dancing along with my acquired skills from five seasons on Dancing with the Stars as a professional dancer. This will be the place for the young and the young-at-heart to learn and enjoy ballroom dancing! And, what better location then the City by the Bay, my hometown of San Francisco."

The grand opening of Chery's studio located at 1830 17th Street (at DeHaro) in San Francisco is Friday, April 4th.
