Authorities say they were called to Pleasant Green Road between Ebenezer Church Road and Saint Mary's Road around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Initial reports indicate the SUV overturned and landed in the woods after hitting the /*cyclist*/. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The cyclist died at the scene.
The /*North Carolina Highway Patrol*/ is investigating the incident.
