The Alameda County Coroner's office said the latest homicide victim was pronounced dead at 4:18 a.m. Sunday after he was shot near a "sideshow," a large impromptu street party and car-stunt exhibition.
Another victim was slain around 1:30 a.m. in East Oakland, just eight blocks away from a Chinese restaurant where another man was shot and killed around 8 p.m. Saturday.
A man found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds about two miles away around 3:30 a.m. Saturday was pronounced dead at Highland Hospital.
A fifth victim was found shot near Lake Merritt at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police released no information about the victim's identities or possible suspects.
