One out of every four workers in the San Jose metropolitan area is employed in the tech industry, according to a new report - the highest concentration in the country.
And the pay is pretty good too.
As of 2006, San Jose tech workers made an average of $144,000 per year, also the highest in the nation.
San Francisco tech workers are second in the country at $118,000.
Oakland came in fourth at $96,000.
