Teens arrested for stealing bats and balls

WATSONVILLE, CA

Just before 8 p.m. Thursday police were dispatched to E.A. Hall School, at 201 Brewington Ave., after receiving reports of teens drinking on school grounds. Upon arrival officers found a group of seven teens who immediately began to leave the school area, according to police.

Officers noticed that two of the boys had new baseball bats, and two others had other baseball-related equipment including a case of baseballs, new hats and a microphone from a PA system.

A preliminary investigation showed that the door to the Little League field house - located just west of campus fields - was open and the equipment in the teens' possession was stolen from inside the shed, according to police.

All four teens were arrested for possession of stolen property and taken to Juvenile Hall.
