Two-alarm fire controlled in SJ

San Jose firefighters controlled a two-alarm fire this morning that sent three people to the hospital, according to the Fire Department.

The fire was reported around 3:15 a.m. in the 1100 block of Miller Avenue and took the crews two hours to control, a fire dispatcher said.

Three people and a dog were trapped inside the house until firefighters arrived and helped them, a dispatcher said.

The extent of their injuries and the cause of the fire were unknown.
