San Francisco police learned of an alleged sexual assault in Pacifica after responding to a a family argument at about 1 a.m. Sunday.
They contacted Pacifica police, and an investigation led officers to arrest Pedro Cruz for allegedly sexually assaulting the victim in a vehicle in Pacifica Saturday morning.
The victim was taken to a hospital for a medical examination and treatment while Cruz was taken into custody and booked into the San Mateo County Jail on rape charges.
