The collision, involving a van and large trailer that was being towed by a truck, was reported at about 6:30 a.m. just east of the high rise on the bridge, CHP Officer A. Paulson said.
One person who was trapped inside one of the vehicles reportedly needed to be extricated.
A Sig-alert issued at 6:45 a.m. was lifted at 7:48 a.m.
