There will be a critical vote Wednesday morning on a new funding plan for the $1 billion seismic replacement of Doyle Drive in San Francisco.

The plan calls for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission to contribute $80 million.

Its finance committee will vote on that proposal today. The bulk of the funding will come from federal and state sources, but it could also include a toll increase on the Golden Gate Bridge.
