Chase said a big-rig began leaking hydraulic fluid at about 11:40 a.m. near Manor Drive.

About 20-25 gallons of fluid have leaked onto the roadway, he said.

Northbound motorists were directed to exit at Manor Drive and re-enter Highway 1 at Monterey Road.
