Police arrest suspected teen auto burglar

A Santa Rosa juvenile was arrested for allegedly breaking into a car early this morning, according to police.

Officers responded to a report of a suspect tampering with a vehicle on Petaluma Hill Road near Breeze Way at about 12:40 a.m., according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.

A 15-year-old was found inside the vehicle, which officers said had a broken window when they arrived.

The suspect was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center and charged with burglary and attempted auto theft, according to police.
