Hawaiian-inspired beef sliders

Gordon Biersch shows us how they cook authentic meals from the Big Island of Hawaii!

Pulehu beef sliders:


  • 3 ea - 2oz portions Pulehu Beef Bistro Fillet Steak, cut against grain and marinated 24 in a Soy/Ginger marinate
  • 3 each Mini Buns
  • 4.5 tsp. Maui Onions: Thin sliced and caramelized
  • 2 tbsp. Garlic Aioli: Spread on both sides of bun
Cooking instructions:
  1. Season the Pulehu Beef Sliders with S&P and cood for 1.5 min and rotate 90'. Turn over and repeat cooking for additional 1.5 min.

  2. Cook the slider buns on a flat top until hot.

  3. Remove the buns and spread te Garlic Aioli on both sides.

  4. Place the cooked slider meat on bottom bun.

  5. Place carmamelized Maui Onions on the slider meat and top with top bun.

  6. Pile 3 oz of seasoned deep fried onion strings in center of plate as garnish.
