Airport travelers no longer in the Clear

The company whose technology allows air travelers to zip through security is about to cease operations.

New York-based Clear allowed registered travelers to use a card with their biometric information on it pass through airport security with less hassle.

The program is in effect at both the San Jose and San Francisco airports.

The company says it has been unable to negotiate an agreement with its creditors and will fold Tuesday.
