Units first responded to a reported collision on southbound Highway 680 at about 4 a.m. near a junction with state Highway 24, CHP Officer Ralph Caggiano said.
All lanes heading south are were blocked by a collision involving at least four vehicles. Minor injuries have been reported, Caggiano said.
A Sig-alert was issued at around 4:15 a.m., and canceled at about 5:30 a.m.
