San Rafael residents robbed at gunpoint

San Rafael police are looking for three men who stole property including cash and three cell phones from residents of a Canal Street apartment Wednesday night.

Police said a Spanish-speaking caller reported the robbery around 9:20 p.m.

The caller said three men, two armed with handguns, forced their way into the apartment and robbed the occupants at gunpoint, police said.

The suspects were last seen running down Harbor Street from Canal Street, police said. Officers checked the area but did not locate them.

No one was injured in the robbery, police said.
