Emergency landing made at SFO

An emergency landing was made at SFO around 11 p.m. Monday night.

A U.S. Airways flight that was supposed to land in Oakland was diverted to San Francisco because the plane's nose wheel steering system failed.

The plane from Phoenix touched down safely. None of the crew members or 147 passengers was hurt.
