Researchers at Indiana University have combined the properties of two natural hormones in a single drug and tested it in rodents.
A single injection decreased the body weight of rodents by 25 percent and fat mass by 42 percent after one week.
The drug, which would be taken as a weekly injection, is still years away from human trials. Experts say keep exercising and eating salads for now.
