Consumers are investing again

Stocks moved higher Tuesday on good news about corporate earnings, that has been widely reported, but here is what you are not hearing: consumers are investing again.

In the April through June time period, $136 billion flowed into stocks and bonds mutual funds. That's the largest amount since the first quarter of 2007.

Consumers may not trust the market more, but are simply scared not to be at least partially invested.
