His wife told ABC News' Barbara Walters that she and his brother Donny were by his side when he died at his ranch on the outskirts of Los Angeles on Monday.
Walters visited Patrick and his wife Lisa in January at their ranch, as he fought pancreatic cancer.
She says the Dirty Dancing star and romantic leading man did every treatment he could to prolong his life -- one that he lived to the fullest to the very end.
