The reception and ceremony will honor Armed Forces members from Alamo, Blackhawk, San Ramon, Dublin and Danville who are home on holiday leave, according to Danville officials.
A special recognition will be presented to each of the honorees, followed by a reception of cookies and coffee.
The event will be between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building, located at 400 Hartz Ave.
