A little extra padding on the hips not a bad thing

If you are worried about the size of your bottom or thighs, maybe you shouldn't be.

A new study by Oxford researchers in England shows extra padding in the hips, butt and thighs is actually healthy. Fat in those areas mop up harmful fatty acids and stop arteries from clogging.

Researchers say a big backside is better than extra fat around the waistline and too little hip can actually lead to metabolic problems.

The study is in this month's International Journal of Obesity.
