A large truck from NuCal Foods delivered more than 88,000 eggs to the food bank on Pennsylvania Avenue.
This is the third year United Egg Producers has teamed up with Feeding America to end hunger.
Food bank officials say fresh eggs are one of the hardest foods to get.
The San Francisco Food Bank serves 22,000 households weekly throughout San Francisco and Marin counties.
