A crash involving a big rig and an armored truck blocked the two right lanes of Interstate Highway 80 just west of the Bay Bridge toll plaza for more than 90 minutes this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The crash was reported shortly after 10:05 a.m., when the two vehicles collided, causing the armored truck to overturn, CHP Officer Shawn Chase said.

No one was injured. A small amount of diesel or gas spilled onto the roadway from the vehicle, and authorities were bringing in absorbent to clean up the spill, Chase said.

The armored truck was placed upright again shortly after 11 a.m., according to Chase.

The crash only caused a minor impact on westbound traffic near the toll plaza, since it was in the two right lanes, which are the bus and carpool lanes, Chase said.

The lanes were reopened by 11:40 a.m.
