Yusuf Bey IV sent messages from his jail cell to Gary Popoff.
That's according to records from Popoff's parole revocation hearing, obtained by ABC7's media partners, the Bay Area News Group.
Bey and an associate were indicted last year in the 2007 murders of Oakland Post editor Chauncey Bailey and two other men.
