Last Wednesday on Cinco de Mayo, school officials asked five Live Oak high school students to go home or turn their t-shirts inside out because they had American flags on them.
The next day, a group of Latino students protested with a walk out. The monthly school board meeting is being held at the Britton Middle School Theater at six p.m..
Officials say it was moved there because a large turnout is expected.
