At about 7:50 a.m., a train became stuck in West Oakland. The mechanical problem was causing delays of 20 to 25 minutes on all trains headed to San Francisco as of 8:20 a.m., BART spokesman Linton Johnson said.
A BART dispatcher said at 8:30 a.m. that the train was moving again, but that delays would remain until later in the morning.
