Authorities in Canada say there was no foul play involved in the death of a San Mateo high school student who fell to his death Sunday.

Daniel Cho, 17, died after plummeting 100 feet off the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, British Columbia while on a field trip with the Aragon High School band and chorus.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said Wednesday they will not file criminal charges in the case.

Witnesses told the Mounties Cho was climbing over barriers before the fall -- despite warning signs and despite being told to stop.
