Pedestrian hospitalized after being struck by vehicle

At about 8:10 a.m., the vehicle struck the pedestrian on Franz Valley Road, according to CHP Officer Paulson.

The pedestrian was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries, she said.

Franz Valley Road was closed briefly after the crash, but it has since reopened.
