Arfat Abdo Fadel said nothing as he stood in shackles Wednesday before a Las Vegas judge. Before trial, Fadel pleaded guilty to conspiracy, kidnapping and robbery.
His lawyer later called the sentence fair.
The judge on July 7 sentenced 42-year-old repeat felon Deshawn Lamont Thomas to life in prison without parole as a habitual criminal for his role in the robbery. A jury convicted him in April of luring a drunken Walker into a car at a Las Vegas Strip hotel in June 2008 and robbing him of money, casino chips and expensive jewelry.
Thomas' lawyer promises to appeal.
