PACIFICA, CA

The accident was reported at about 10 p.m. at a condominium complex near Hickey Boulevard and Beachview Avenue.

Officers arrived to find a red 2000 Chevrolet Blazer resting against a home at 278 Beachview Ave., with the driver still inside.

The driver, a 25-year-old San Mateo man, was traveling west on Hickey Boulevard when he lost control of the SUV and crashed into a detached garage, police said.

The SUV went into the garage, slammed into a car parked inside and came out through the garage's sidewall.

The vehicle continued into a front patio area before coming to rest against the front wall of the home, police said.

The accident caused major damage to the residence, garage and the parked car. One unit and the garage of the building have been red-tagged.

Nobody in the condominium was injured.

The driver was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to San Francisco General Hospital. It was later determined that he was uninjured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
