Woman arrested for allegedly raping 2 minors

LIVERMORE, CA

Christine Shreeve Hubbs has been allegedly having sex with two underage boys since December 2008 up to the time she was arrested, police said.

Hubbs allegedly sent messages and nude pictures of herself to the boys from her cell phone. After contacting the victims, she would then allegedly drive them in her black Hummer to different locations in Livermore and have sex with them, police said.

She allegedly provided the victims "regularly" with Visa gift cards, dinners at restaurants, and video game consoles, police Lt. Matt Sarsfield said.

Police began an investigation on July 27 after they received a tip from someone connected to Hubbs. Both victims are cooperating with the investigation, Sarsfield said.

The first victim was contacted after police received the tip. The second victim came forward voluntarily a few days later, Sarsfield said.

"The family and the victims are all associated with each other," he said.

Hubbs has a husband of about 20 years, Timothy, and three children, according to her Facebook and MySpace pages. More than half of her 36 friends on MySpace have pages displaying ages 18 or younger.

Hubbs's Facebook page says her husband is a dentist, and that she works in the dental office. It also says she would "taxi kids around after school."

Hubbs hired a lawyer "sometime last week" after learning she was being investigated, Sarsfield said. She faces charges of 67 felony counts of sexual assault, including oral copulation, lewd act on a child, and exhibition of lewd material to a minor.

The bail for Hubbs's release from Santa Rita Jail is $4.3 million, police said.

Hubbs is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday at Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice in Pleasanton, according to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office.
